TD, video of skiing on the old slopes of Tamarack on Moscow Mountain. Still a draw for earning turns for WSU and U of I students. There was a guy who taught Tele there back in the day and was running a ski shop down in Moscow. I think you skied with him, but I forgot his name. He showed up on Ttips some and skied our region and skinned at some obscure hills in the INW. I climbed up some of the slopes at the old Tamarack in Moscow ( there is also a big resort in McCall named Tamarack). The old runs at Moscow Mountain are Pretty brushed in, but some of the skiers down there removed some of it.

Was in college there and skied Tamarack on my very first XC outing up Moscow Mtn. Buddy who went to college there had a shop in CdA and he still mounts my skis tuned my bikes in Moscow.

Spent a bit looking at Teton Pass in MT out of Choteau, drove by it once supposed to be great BC skiing above the ski area. It's only open weekends but I think a midweek trip or Thurs-Fri would be fun ski catch Saturday even supposedly never busy. Sadly it doesn't get much snow Average 250".

Did ski North/South ski area back in the college days as part of the ski team, it was our training hill, I've always wanted to ski the little areas South of Lewiston, but considering the size rather hike them midweek.

The dad of a guy I worked with ran the N/S Bowl. 400 feet of vertical! Ha..Still a lodge and restaurant there and groomed XC trails. I guess you could skin the bowl if you wanted. Lower elevation and changing climate killed it for dependable alpine skiing. N/S Bowl
