Great fallback but could become a bad habit.

I dunno - that looks pretty beautifully smooth for that jump transition with what looks like straight skis.
That also looks steep enough to absolutely need a jump turn to ski with those skis.

Skiing moguls is like driving washboarded gravel roads. Best advice is go like a bat out of hell and skim across the peaks.

I agree, but bumps with a foot of fresh can be really fun even if all you do is take the green line!

Pivoting around strong pole plant on steeps..Kim can do this so slowly and controlled it looks like he's almost walking. Not a bad idea to lengthen poles just to get down..Skid skid skid.

Yea.. Best I have seen. Though the Austrian Power Turn and Open/Burr Turn are missing..As well as the Parallel Swing and Abstem Turn..

Austrian Power Turn.. Great to know and you can find it in really old ski articles, but much easier to SEE it! You can combine it with jumping very naturally.

Advocates a quick counter-ROTATION right at the end of the turn IF NEEDED.. to scrub speed..check..Counter earlier and you slide more yet. You can pivot and counter so fast around a strongly planted pole that it's almost like walking, even down a really steep slope.
