Why the hate from Johnny for anything but skiing naked on NNN or Xplore? Good question and it's sure telltale as far as "freeing the mind" goes. Johnny has been seething at the fact that virtually all of the good XCD-TELE skiers in that forum ski 75mm gear and have been quite upfront about it. How do you offer a Tom M as the model of the future of Newage XCD naked skiing and dumpster diving as opposed to a Lo Fi or Al when it's obvious Tom cannot ski (no matter, he raves about Johnny's chosen gear preferences and flails about on them and that's the really important thing) and a Lo Fi skis on a very solid level on old Hardwires and T4's and Al et al over there do as well on the likes of various 75mm bindings and boots. Must have gotten terribly frustrating for the love skier, so he brought in his buddy "Manny" for the big forum house cleaning and makeover. Bizarre again being that Manny is clearly just a troll who obviously skis little but blathers incessantly. Ttalk is sinking. It's run by a guy who pretended to be all about inclusion but wanted a forum of true believers (bigots and innocent converts) dedicated to HIS narrow preferences for ski gear- T4's and hardwires or 3PC or pins need not apply. LOVEJohnny sure ain't no Telehiro!

Yup, Manny is now Johnny's cheerleading dog, dog #1. Ttalk is NOW the place for bad skiers to go to get really bad advice from other skiers who cannot or do not ski. Some guy asked for advice, going to summit St. Helen's and ski down on shitty gear -- the kinda shit Johnny thinks is the BEST! The advice was terrible and his experience at flopping down the hill while his buddies on AT gear watched was humiliating and miserable.. It was also predictable. A skier like Al would have told the dude to get on some gear appropriate to the goal, but no one like Al is going to give advice, not now. I've done St Helen's and it can be done safely and with fun and style on the likes of T4's and good skis and active 75mm bindings. No worries, this morning "Manny" heaps praise on the poor guy who flailed and walked down ST. Helen's for his miserable wonderful experience. Take Manny's advice if you want help from a guy who does not ski and probably can't ski.

Hilarious stuff. Now "Tallgrass" is heaping praise and offering "advice". Have you seen Tallgrass ski? I have; he can't.

It's amazing how many are so full of advice at Ttalk but literally are either not even stable beginners or absolutely cannot ski. Manny appears to get his advice via AI with his rapid-fire glib facts and obviously incorrect claims.

It's 24/7 the All Manny and Tallgrass Show now at Ttalk! Unending blabber by the troll who does not ski and the forum expert who absolutely cannot turn correctly in a snowplow! GREAT things to come. They are hosting a big dinner only for those who eschew 75mm. Menu includes just your favorite items salvaged from grocery store dumpsters! The biggest forum toadies get posters of Johnny skiing buck naked!

Forum craziness. All seems like religion, believers and non. I don't know about the dumpster dining, Tb, but there was a pic of Johnny skiing a strip of old wet snow bare ass naked which he proudly displayed. Sharp edges? YIKES! And Td and I know a local skier who lost a sharp one (skis AT all the time, inbounds or out) and seriously cut his sack!

Seriously, this video is Johnny hates seeing because some people are on old hardwires and T4's or 2's? Lowangle Al would fit right in with the group, even Tm would be happy to be there. Oh, I forgot none of them can possible ski, not like JOHNNY or his pet dog Manny- though neither ever posts a video of their amazing skills.

I don't know how Johhny makes money off of the site, but it seems pretty obvious that he doesn't get any sponsorship from Scarpa or Voile. Is it economically motivated, or maybe Scarpa and /or Voile turned him down if he ever asked them for sponsorship, so maybe it's personal?

Bizarre to me.. I don't like skiing bare pins but I don't give a damn if someone else does and I know they can be skied well on ok conditions. I am just not interested in investing time and $ in the likes of simple pins, NNn or Xplore when I can ski about about anything XCD I want on 3PC and T4's and a decent ski. NNN/Bc, Xplore or simple pins, none of the 3 make any difference to Telehiro's skiing on what he is willing to use any of them for and that tells the stark truth especially when you see him switch over to T4's or T2's and hardwires or NTN et al when he thinks heavier gear is a match for the day. And the hate for good Scarpa 75mm boots and active 75mm bindings is like the craziest thing ever. Manny/Grimshitter was obviously brought in last winter to trash all "cable" binding types last winter.. and then he reappeared to play the same games this spring. In particular, the pet dog was brought in to thin out the XCD/Tele skiers who simply tell the truth about active bindings and stiffer boots vs lite gear on challenging terrain or more difficult conditions. It appears Johnny has a bullshit ski religion and there were just too many heretics in the church.

i agree that manny was "brought in" by jonny to discredit cable bindings and 75 mm gear in general, and to antagonize anyone on the forum that promotes it.
So, how much do you think is economically related to jonnys income?

I doubt it much of a factor if you consider that Dostie sometimes begs for donations to keep things going and there's a lot more traffic at BcTalk than at the ersatz Ttips.

Manny is telling all Ttalk about the details of X0LORE, because, of course, he read all about it online. Dude is transparent about why he knows what he "knows" and it has nothing to do with skiing himself.

Yeah, and he's still talking about ankle strength and how it affects xcd. He didn't mention "heel control" though, which he has said is also needed for xcd, probably because XP doesn't have a cable. Ankle strength and heel control are something manny came up with. It sounds like something that someone who didn't know how to ski would think they need more of to get a ski to turn. With light gear you can't force a ski to turn how you want it to, you need to make it turn how it wants to.
